Open terminal and write gconf-editor

double-click apps

double-click nautilus

select preferences

check mark for “always_use_location_entry”

install dconf-tools by : sudo apt-get install dconf-tools

then open dconf

when opened

> org
> gnome
> nautilus
> preferences

and on the right hand side enable alaways_use_location_entry option
