# Raspberry Pi 4 SSH and VNC

Uncategorized @ 11 December 2020

Recently I started using my new raspberry pi. To my experience starting the installation from the network took almost 8 hours to finish. I don’t know why but just for your information.
SSH
Raspberry Pi is not being shipped with an SSH server running. In order to enable SSH, create a file called ssh (no extension, nothing) in the boot partition of the SD card. When you start your Pi it will alert you saying that SSH is configured and PASSWORD became the DEFAULT one. So change your password if you want to use something different than the default raspberry password.
VNC
on terminal type raspi-config
go to interfaces
go to VNC and enable it
then go to screen resolution
do it something you like
save everything
it will ask for a reboot, reboot it. You are good to go.
